Bonnie B. Lasinski, MA, PT, CSCI, CLT-LANA is the Clinical Director of Lymphedema Therapy in Woodbury, Long Island, NY and the Boris/Lasinski School, which teaches the Casley-Smith Method of CLT. She is a 1976 graduate of the PT program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a 1981 graduate of the Masters program in Motor Learning at Columbia University. Ms. Lasinski studied Lymphology and the treatment of lymphedema with Drs. John and Judith Casley-Smith of Adelaide, South Australia in 1992 and was certified as an instructor in their method in 1995. Ms. Lasinski received her LANA certification in 2001.
Since 1992, Ms. Lasinski has dedicated her practice to the evaluation and comprehensive treatment of individuals with lymphatic system disorders. She has co-authored three clinical studies on the treatment of lymphedema published in Oncology and Lymphology, and has contributed case studies published in the Casley-Smith's book entitled "Modern Treatment for Lymphoedema, (1997). She authored the chapter on the Lymphatic System in the book "Pathology: Implications for the Physical Therapist" published by Saunders in 2009. Ms. Lasinski is an active member of the International Society of Lymphology, and the Oncology Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is a Member of the National Lymphedema Network's Medical Advisory Committee, a Board member and past Vice President of the Lymphology Association of North America, a Board member of Casley Smith International, member of the Education Committee of the International Lymphoedema Framework, and Steering Committee member of the American Lymphedema Framework Project. Ms. Lasinski has served on the Scientific Committee for the past 5 National Lymphedema Network Conferences.
