I am 21 years old and have had Primary Lymphoedema in my left leg since the age of 15. I graduated from University of Birmingham last summer with a music degree and I'm about to start a new job as a special needs TA. I am looking to do a postgrad in music therapy in the probably far far future!
I am pretty passionate and creative but most importantly I am empathetic. I have fully embraced living with lymphoedema, as what once I deemed as a setback, now is the core of my motivation to lead the happiest and most fulfilled life. This positivity has ironically not come about to inspire my lymphoedema, but because of my lymphoedema. I wish to implement these positive vibes into the lives of young sufferers who are confused and angry and upset with their diagnosis and show them that it all works out, just hang on in there. Because I didn't have that person to tell me it was all going to be okay.
