Marilyn Westbrook Garment Fund (MWGF)
***CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS***
We apologize for the delay in processing MWGF applications. We are trying to confirm our completed files, fast track those that have been waiting and re-establish our processes to improve things in the future. We ask any therapists whose patients have not received a reply to their application and/or approved garments to please e-mail us at nlngarmentfund [at] lymphnet.org
Since its inception, the Marilyn Westbrook Garment Fund has provided compression garments to more than 3,000 patients with financial need. It would not be possible without the generous support from our volunteers and industry partners.
With the overwhelming and increasing need that exist within the lymphedema community, the number of applications submitted to the MWGF has tripled. In order to continue to meet the needs of our therapists and patients, we are reviewing and updating the MWGF application and approval process. Updates we plan to implement include a paperless application submission and improved status updates and communications.
During the review and transition to our new process will we need to place a temporary hold on new applications.
Every year, the Marilyn Westbrook Garment Fund (MWGF) helps many patients who do not have the means to buy their own garments. The garments give our patients the hope that they need to continue to live and make positive steps in their lives. We rarely turn down an application and try our best to help all patients in need. The many thanks we receive from our patients are reward enough for continuing the MWGF. Read below for important details about qualifying for the program.
